I write this article to push you to prepare the best you can how you can. As a single woman or man don’t think that because it’s just you that you will be ok because you don’t need much. Keep in mind because its just you, then you need to plan and execute. Not sure where to start here is a sample plan to help.
- Decide where you can safely store food, and paper products in or around your home.
- Decide on which food items you personally enjoy like turkey or tuna, do not choose foods because they are healthy and you need to watch your figure. Be realistic buy what you eat!
- If you are vegan or partake in a particular diet don’t dismiss the things you stopped buying, having a can meat product is not going to change your views on food but can keep you alive.
- Learn how to grow something at home (where you lay your head) this will help extend your food resources, look to container gardening to keep it simple and fun.
- For paper products are necessity and some chains have started to limit how many you can buy in one visit and that’s ok this can be a good thing this will allow you to catch up on having the necessary paper products you need.
- This may seem daunting but keep in mind this is for the next 3 to 6 months and keep that rolling in your head.
- This isn’t a one big shopping haul and done. Take the time to do as you can, weekly shop is good this is your “food insurance”.
- As a single person you have come to learn is that you are who counts on you.
Mind you if the supply chain get it act together you have lost nothing. We are in survival mode. Don’t later be I wished I did something. Please Prepare.
